
What is coaching?
Coaching is a partnership built upon a foundation of compassion, empathy, and a mutual desire to achieve growth. From this foundation exploration and experimentation help lead us to finding the correct keys to sustainable growth by anchoring to core values and developing confidence, self-efficacy, and a belief in the self.
Coaching differs from the typical "prescribe and treat" model in that it is a collaborative experience that pairs the expertise of "the self", by way of the client, with expertise of "change", by way of the coach, working together to empower the client to find meaningful and lasting change.
What can I expect?
Together we will discover the path to successfully integrating healthy change that is meaningful and motivating for you. We will start by assessing your life, your goals, and your values/motivations. From here we will explore and experiment together until we find what works for you and your unique life.

Is this therapy?
No, whereas therapy focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental illness; self-care coaching focuses on helping clients set goals, implement action, and navigate pitfalls during the change process to improve their self-care and overall wellbeing.
